Plant habit is low bushy with pods scattered at foliage level. The pods are medium green changing to light straw at maturity. Under certain conditions a slight purplish cast may develop. The pods are straight or slightly curved and about 6 inches long. Seed shape is crowder. There are about 15 seeds per pod. This is one of the best yielding southern peas on the market and a favorite with gardeners. Seed is large with about 2100 seeds per pound.
