Purplehull Knucklehull Pea Seeds

Heavy yielding, brown crowder type pea. Known as "Knuckle Hull" because of the big, plump peas! Low bushy plant with 6-9"L pods scattered at foliage level. Pods turn reddish to purple with large seeds that turn brown when dry. Brown-speckled crowders have a stronger flavor than their pink or black-eyed counterparts. Purple flower. Excellent dried and as a canning variety.
