Butternut Squash Seeds

One of the best, most popular varieties of winter squash. Its sweet, dry, orange-colored flesh makes it ideal for baking, as well as for pies. Very productive. After all danger of frost, in a sunny location, sow 5 seeds spaced evenly over a hill 9 to 12 inches tall and 2 feet across. When plants are 3 inches tall, thin by cutting to the 3 strongest seedlings per hill.
