Ble. Compressed Alfalfa Hay

DESCRIPTION:
Alfalfa is high quality, chopped, dehydrated hay conveniently packaged in a plastic bag. Produced for you to pamper your horse while giving him consistent nutrients he needs.

Alfalfa Hay is chopped in 1″ to 5″ in length making the alfalfa easy for the horses to chew, especially for the mature horse. There is very little waste which makes it more economical than the conventionally baled hay that can have up to 30% waste before consumed by the horse.

Dehydrated Alfalfa is the most nutritive rich form of alfalfa, containing more vitamins, minerals, and amino acids than typical sun-cured alfalfa. It has been reported that 10 pounds of high quality dehydrated alfalfa will probably out-yield most horse “conditioners” on every labeled ingredient except B-12, and will supply most of the horse’s energy and protein needs.

Let your horse be the judge! Give your horse a taste test, we are sure (s)he will love it.

GUARANTEED ANALYSIS:
Crude protein, not less than 17.00%
Crude Fat, not less than 1.50%
Crude Fiber, no more than 30.00%

FEEDING RECOMMENDATIONS:
MATURE NON-WORKING HORSES: Feed ½ to 1 pound US ALFALFA per 100 pounds of bodyweight daily.

WORKING HORSES, YOUNG GROWING HORSES, GESTATING OR LACTING MARES: Feed 1 to 1 1/2 pounds of US ALFALFA per 100 pounds of body weight daily.

US Alfalfa should be bunk, trough or bucket fed (same as grain). US Alfalfa can be fed by itself or mixed with grain and grain-based feeds.

Whenever making a change in your horse’s diet nutritionists recommend making the change gradually. We recommend at least one week to fully change your horse’s current hay diet to US Alfalfa.

THE ABOVE IS AN APPROXIMATE FEEDING RECOMMENDATIONS ONLY! Consult your veterinarian for specific feeding questions concerning your animal.

HOW & WHERE SHOULD I STORE MY US ALFALFA?
US Alfalfa requires up to 50% less space that conventionally baled hay. It must be stored in a dry area away from storage areas that become humid and damp.

We would recommend that you purchase only the US Alfalfa that you have adequate and appropriate storage for. Storing US Alfalfa in damp or humid areas will cause molding. Please contact us if you feel anything is unusual about the US Alfalfa that you purchase for a full refund with return of product
